Our Company had pretty much given up on using collection agencies because they usaually do not live up to their promises. When we were first approached by Optimal we had a very large debt outstanding and had already had a lawyer working the file. The lawyer had basically given up and advised us that our debtor company had no money. After a conversation with Mary Dyck of Optimal I was advised that some probing would have to be done but there was some hope. Optimal located a source to which we could issue a garnishee, set us up with a lawyer in Manitoba and directed the lawyer where and when to issue the garnishee. We were advised within 10 days of the garnishee that $28,000.00+ had been paid into court. We were successful getting the money out of court and satisfied a rather large portion of the debt owed to us. Our faith in collection agencies was renewed.
